Healthy Burger

Ingredients for Tikki:

  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 50gm Paneer
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped or grated carrots
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped French beans
  • 2 tbsp sweet corn (slightly boiled)
  • 1 slice brown bread
  • ¼ tsp pepper powder
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
Other ingredients:
  • whole wheat bun/ buns – 2-3
  • 2 tsp tomato ketchup
  • 2 tsp mayo
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 2 medium sized sliced onion and tomato
  • Cheese slices – 3-4

Method of preparation:

  • Combine all the ingredients and mix well
  • Make round tikki and flatten it.
  • Keep the prepared tikkis in the fridge for 15-20mins
  • Heat oil in non stick pan and shallow fry the tikki till they become golden brown.
How to serve
  1. Mix mayo and tomato ketchup.
  2. Cut the buns in two halves and apply mayo ketchup mix and then place lettuce onion tomato slice and then tikki and cheese slice and cover with another half of bun
  3. Heat the bun slightly and serve
